Tina

I did not know that my sister worked as a prostitute. I remember that she took me to a hotel where she used to work, but I did not suspect that she was involved in prostitution. It was only after a series of events that I realized that she was one.
One day she told me that she would help me find work and took me to a man in Haldia. My sister said yes but I refused to work as I did not know what job it was. One night I was sleeping beside my mom and I felt my mother moving away. When I asked where she was going, she said that she would be back soon. A man named Gautham came after a while and forced me on his bike and drove to the brothel. When we reached there, I saw the room full of men and girls. Gautham took me to a small room and told me that I would have to sleep with men. I wept for a long time and pleaded to let me go. But they hit me and gave   me a drink, after which I don't know what happened.

I was abused by several men. During my time in the brothel, I saw my mother and sister come to collect money. I began to hate them and missed my father, as he didn't know that my mother and sister sold me into this trade. This wen ton for a year. One day, I was in the brothel inside the bathroom and could hear the police entering the brothel and girls running to and fro. I realized a raid was taking place. I didn't move from the bathroom. I sat there because I wanted the police to find me and take me out. A few staff from a rescue organization saw me hiding and took me away to safety. After my rescue, I was sent to a short-stay home where I continue to stay to this day. I am glad that I am rescued from the brothel. I miss my father a lot and hope to meet him one day.

Let's stay connected, Shall we?
